New residential developments announced in Vriezenveen and The Hague
New housing projects have been unveiled in Vriezenveen and The Hague, targeting various market segments.
In Vriezenveen, the first phase of the Vjenne Zuid residential district has been designed. The urban plan includes 430 homes across different price categories, including 135 social rental units, 45 affordable homes for purchase, and various mid-range and high-end options. The development features 12 residential fields and emphasizes green space, including the Lateraalpark and a nature-friendly bank along the Lateraalkanaal.
In The Hague, specifically the Leidschenveen-Ypenburg district, construction is set to begin in December 2026 on Park Bloom. This project will consist of four residential towers containing 250 apartments. More than half of these units are designated for social housing, while the remainder are for sale. The project includes an underground parking garage to address local concerns regarding parking pressure in the surrounding neighborhood. Residents are expected to move in by the spring of 2029.
