New restaurant openings announced for Kyoto and Gifu

Several new restaurant openings have been announced in Japan. Reins International, part of the Colowide Group, will open the Gyu-Kaku Yakiniku Shokudo at the Aeon Kyoto Rakunan shopping center on October 8. This specialized food court establishment marks the 94th location nationwide and the third in Kyoto Prefecture, offering affordable yakiniku options such as iron plate yakiniku sets and yakiniku bowls.

Additionally, Ride On Express Holdings is expanding its Mogami Seimen brand with a fourth location at Aeon Town Kakamigahara, scheduled to open on October 5, 2026. The establishment will feature the Gifu regional specialty, ‘Hiyashi Tanuki,’ and will offer promotional pricing on its signature dishes during its opening week.
