New seafood dining establishments open in Reggio Calabria and Milan

Two new seafood-focused dining venues have opened in Italy, offering distinct culinary approaches.

In Reggio Calabria, GustAmare has reopened at the Fish Market within the city's port. Led by chef Carmelo Libro, the restaurant emphasizes Mediterranean traditions combined with creative pairings. The establishment offers a tasting menu for 50 euros per person, which includes appetizers, two first courses, two main courses, and dessert, along with water and wine. The port provides free vehicle access for customers.

In Milan, located on Alzaia Naviglio Pavese, the restaurant Pa. Lato has been operating for over a year under entrepreneur Gezim Gjinali. The venue features a modern menu structure that moves away from traditional distinctions between first and second courses, instead categorizing items as tastings, appetizers, and main dishes to suit contemporary dining habits. Chef Lorenzo Ragagnin prepares dishes such as langoustine crudo and shrimp tartare. The restaurant also plans to introduce Albanian seafood recipes and Balkan wines in its upcoming menu debut.
