New security vehicle arrives at Jaguapiru Village in Dourados

The Jaguapiru Village community in Dourados, located within the largest indigenous reserve in Mato Grosso do Sul, has received a new security vehicle to reinforce local safety.

The vehicle was delivered by the State Government through the Secretariat of State for Justice and Public Security (Sejusp). It is intended to support the Indigenous Community Security Council by facilitating community displacement and improving response times for situations requiring police assistance, including coordination with the Civil Police, Military Police, and Military Firefighters.

Local residents expressed that the addition of the vehicle will provide greater peace of mind and more agile emergency services. The Indigenous Community Security Council, composed of community members, serves as a permanent channel of dialogue between indigenous populations and state public security agencies.
