New skateparks inaugurated in Las Flores and Almería

New urban sports facilities have been launched in Las Flores, Argentina, and Almería, Spain.

In Las Flores, the Las Flores Skatepark is set to open this Saturday at the intersection of Av. Pellegrini and 25 de Mayo. The facility is designed to accommodate rollers, BMX, and skateboarding, providing a modern and inclusive space for local youth. The inauguration will feature live music, food trucks, and demonstrations by guest skaters and bikers.

In Almería, the 'el ocho' skatepark located in San Isidro Park has undergone a renovation. The municipal investment of over 46,600 euros was used to repair deteriorated areas, remove unauthorized graffiti, and add new structures, including an expanded 'funbox' and a corner module. To celebrate the reopening, the 'Jam Urban Sessions' event brought together approximately one hundred practitioners of scooter, skate, BMX, and roller disciplines. The local administration also announced plans for a future 6,000-square-meter BMX infrastructure at the Recinto Ferial.
