New South Wales agricultural properties see significant activity

Significant agricultural properties in New South Wales have been involved in recent transactions and market offerings.

Womboin Station, a 14,443-hectare grazing property located in the Marra Creek district of the Warren Shire, has been sold. The property, which includes 13,600 hectares of freehold country and an 843-hectare Crown land lease, was purchased by Merino breeder Tim McDonald. While the final sale price was not disclosed, the property was marketed with a price guide of approximately $450 per acre, suggesting a value near $16 million. The station is capable of supporting roughly 14,000 dry sheep equivalents.

In the Riverina district, the Woodside property is currently on the market for $8 million. Located near Corowa and Albury, the 662-hectare holding is comprised of 24 titles and can be purchased as a whole or in two portions. The property features a mix of cropping and grazing capabilities, currently running livestock including 1,200 ewes and 70 Angus cows, alongside a 350-hectare winter cropping program.
