New South Wales police report multiple arrests for assault, threats, and drug offenses

Several criminal incidents have been reported across New South Wales. In Berridale, a 53-year-old man was arrested by the Australian Federal Police after allegedly making an online threat to kill a federal parliamentarian. He was charged with using a carriage service to make a threat to kill and was granted bail with strict conditions, including staying away from Parliament House.

In the Leeton area, three men have been charged following an alleged assault on a 25-year-old man near Corbie Hill that resulted in serious head injuries. The suspects, aged 20, 21, and 25, face multiple charges including causing grievous bodily harm with intent and demanding property. All three were refused bail.

In Griffith, police have conducted multiple operations resulting in arrests. A 22-year-old man was apprehended during a roadside stop where officers allegedly discovered cannabis, methylamphetamine, cash, and drug paraphernalia. He faces charges of drug possession and intimidating a police officer. Additionally, a 31-year-old man was arrested following a police pursuit after allegedly driving a vehicle while disqualified. The driver allegedly tested positive for cocaine and methylamphetamine and faces charges of reckless driving and police pursuit.
