New sports facilities inaugurated in La Esmeralda and Daniel Álvarez Burneo

In La Esmeralda, Uruguay, local authorities have inaugurated a new multi-use sports court located at the intersection of streets 39 and 6. The project was completed entirely using municipal labor through the Rocha Government's General Directorate of Works and Infrastructure, in coordination with the Municipality of Castillos and the La Esmeralda Tourism and Development Commission.

In Ecuador, the Daniel Álvarez Burneo Educational Unit has opened a new synthetic sports field following a USD 100,000 investment. The project was funded through contributions from parents (40%), the Álvarez Foundation with support from Banco de Loja (30%), and institutional self-management (30%). The facility is expected to benefit 2,800 students and will be available to the public in the afternoons to generate maintenance revenue.
