New sports infrastructure developments completed in Hungary and Romania

New sports infrastructure developments have been completed in Balatonfüred, Hungary, and at the Apáczai Csere János Elméleti Líceum in Romania.

In Balatonfüred, a new cycling park has been established at the Forrás Sportpark. The complex includes a 900-meter terrain flow trail, a pump track designed for children and beginners, and dirt jump ramps for advanced riders. The project cost 59.6 million forints, funded by Aktív Magyarország (35.7 million forints) and the Balatonfüred Municipality (approximately 24 million forints). The 800-square-meter pump track is suitable for hosting competitions and is used by the Balatonfüred SC cycling department.

In Romania, the Apáczai Csere János Elméleti Líceum has inaugurated a new modern surface for its sports court. The upgrade was necessary because the school lacks a standard gymnasium, forcing many physical education classes to take place outdoors. The project, costing over 200,000 lei, was financed through the efforts of the parents' committee—using proceeds from a property sale and a sports day fundraiser—with additional contributions from the Cluj-Napoca City Hall and local companies.
