New sports infrastructure inaugurated in Uruguay and Argentina

New sports infrastructure has been inaugurated in both Uruguay and Argentina. In Uruguay, Asociación Deportiva Cerro Largo Fútbol Club officially opened its new sports complex near Melo. The facility includes five pitches, one dedicated exclusively to football, a gym, recovery rooms, and locker rooms. The complex also features a significant water reserve for irrigation and a new tree plantation. Ignacio Alonso, President of the Uruguayan Football Association, attended the ceremony to recognize the club's professional advancement.

In Argentina, the Club Social y Deportivo Achirense has expanded its facilities with a new water hockey pitch. The project, representing a private investment by the Bonnín family, was visited by the Mayor of Colón, José Luis Walser. The new infrastructure is intended to support local athletes and attract sports delegations, potentially boosting tourism and social development in the city of Colón.
