Kraków: New FSSPX chapel dedicated

On October 18, 2026, Father Karol Stehlin, the Superior of the FSSPX District in Poland, consecrated a new chapel dedicated to Saint Pius X in Kraków. Approximately five hundred faithful attended the ceremony.

The ritual involved the sprinkling of the walls to transition the building from secular use to divine service, followed by an inaugural Mass accompanied by a Kraków male schola. During his homily, Father Stehlin referenced Saint Athanasius, stating, “They have churches, we have faith,” emphasizing that faith serves as the foundation of life.

He noted that for over thirty years, Catholics in Poland seeking spiritual guidance and traditional doctrine have adapted various structures, such as garages and large halls, into chapels to ensure the dignified celebration of the Mass.
