New suspense productions feature Netflix miniseries and Andean film

Recent entertainment highlights include the Netflix miniseries ‘Silêncio na Floresta’ (Silence in the Forest) and the film ‘O Degelo’ (The Thaw).

‘Silêncio na Floresta’ is a six-episode Polish adaptation of Harlan Coben’s novel ‘The Woods’. Set in Warsaw, the story follows prosecutor Pawel Kopiński as he investigates a new murder that potentially links to the 1994 disappearance of his sister, Kamila, during a summer camp.

‘O Degelo’, written and directed by Manuela Martelli, is a suspense film set in the Chilean Andes in 1992. The plot centers on nine-year-old Inés, who experiences a shift in her reality after her new friend, a 15-year-old German skier named Hanna, disappears while staying at a hotel near a ski station.
