Taiwanese organizations launch Mid-Autumn charitable initiatives

Various organizations and local governments across Taiwan are conducting charitable activities and community events in observance of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

In Taipei, Guodu Motors has signed a cooperation agreement with the Beitou Police Branch to provide free access to its Sky Fitness gym facilities for officers to support their physical health. In New Taipei City, the Banqiao District Office distributed 15kg bags of rice to nearly 10,000 low-income and vulnerable households, while the Xinjhuang District Office partnered with Xinjhuang Dizang Temple to provide 1,297 households with rice and cash envelopes.

In Hualien, Xiao's Enterprise donated 120,000 TWD to Ji'an Township to assist 100 underprivileged families with festival funds. Additionally, the Taichung Excellence Youth Workers Association held a large-scale Mid-Autumn gathering for approximately 80 members and volunteers to promote social service. In Taipei's Da'an District, the Xi'an Village held a community event combining disease prevention education, such as dengue fever awareness, with festive celebrations.
