New Taipei City Green Life Music Festival returns after four-year hiatus

The 2026 New Taipei City Green Life Music Festival returned after a four-year hiatus, held at the New Taipei City Museum of Fine Arts outdoor park. The event, themed ‘Music connects generations, culture continues the heritage,’ featured two stages: the GREEN STAGE and the ROOT STAGE.

On the first day, the festival attracted over 10,000 attendees. Performers included classic singers such as Lee Yi-jun, Shin Hsiao-chi, and Saya, alongside new generation artists like Patrick Brasca and the band Sweet John. Japanese singer Yo Hitoto headlined the evening, performing hits such as ‘So Long’ and ‘Hanamizuki,’ and even sang a Taiwanese classic, ‘Rainy Night Flower.’

New Taipei City Mayor Hou Yu-ih attended the event, joining the crowd to sing and interact with citizens. He noted that the festival's move to the museum aims to link art, urban space, and local life. He also highlighted that improved transportation via the Sanxia Line makes the museum and surrounding Yingge area more accessible for cultural tourism.
