New Taipei City to close expressway ramps for road maintenance

The New Taipei City Government Department of Public Works will conduct road milling and paving operations on the New Taipei Ring Expressway and Qiaohe Road in Zhonghe District from August 29 to August 30. The work is scheduled to take place nightly between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM to improve pavement quality and driver safety.

On August 29, construction will affect ramps on Section 4 of Huanhe West Road in Banqiao District and the ramp from Huazhong Bridge toward Qiaohe Road. Drivers are advised to use alternative routes such as Wanban Bridge or Jingping Road depending on their direction.

On August 30, closures will impact the ramp descending to Xianmin Boulevard and the ramp on Section 4 of Huanhe West Road at the Wanban Road intersection. The Department has arranged traffic control measures, including signage and volunteer traffic directors, to assist motorists during the phased closures.
