New Taipei City water play areas to close October 1

Five popular water play areas in New Taipei City will close starting October 1 for scheduled facility maintenance and repairs. The affected locations include the Xinzhuang Wanzaidi Wetland Park water pool, Chongyang Huayang Water Park, Hai World Water Park, Sunshine Playground Butterfly Waterway, and Interstellar Park Mercury Water Area.

During September, operating hours for these sites will be adjusted to weekends and national holidays only. Specific spray schedules vary by location; for instance, the Wanzaidi Wetland Park pool will spray for 10 minutes every half hour between 9:30 AM and 6:30 PM. The Water Resources Bureau advises citizens to check specific schedules before visiting to ensure availability.
