New television series arrivals include Lijepe naše and The Good Daughter

New television productions are arriving this season, ranging from local dramedies to international psychological thrillers.

In Croatia, HRT is launching the series ‘Lijepe naše’ on October 29. The show is a dramedy focused on the lives of modern women navigating the challenges of life after 40, centering on characters played by Nataša Dangubić and Janko Popović Volarić. The series aims to provide a female perspective on family dynamics and urban life.

On the international stage, the psychological thriller ‘The Good Daughter’ is set to release in the US on November 12. Adapted from Karin Slaughter’s bestselling novel, the six-episode series stars Rose Byrne, Meghann Fahy, and Brendan Gleeson. The plot follows sisters Charlotte and Samantha Quinn as a new crime in their small town forces long-buried family secrets and traumas to the surface.
