New television series premieres this week

Several new television programs are scheduled to premiere this week. The series ‘Small Prophets’, created by Mackenzie Crook, is arriving on Apple TV Plus and ABC iView. The six-episode show follows Michael Sleep, a man seeking answers regarding his wife’s disappearance seven years prior. The narrative involves the use of ‘homunculi’—stop-motion humanoid creatures grown in jars that act as truthful fortune tellers.

Additionally, the SBS series ‘The Jury: Skeleton In The Garden’ is debuting on Monday at 7:30 pm. This season explores a real Australian manslaughter case, questioning the possibility of a conviction in the absence of a clear cause of death, a weapon, or direct forensic evidence.
