New themed dining experiences open in Lisbon and Vila Velha

New dining experiences are emerging in Lisbon and Vila Velha. In Lisbon, the Oceanário de Lisboa has opened a new restaurant called Submerso. Operated by a company from the SushiCafé group, the restaurant aims to offer traditional Portuguese cuisine, such as bacalhau à Brás and peixinhos da horta, to both local and international visitors with a contemporary presentation.

In Vila Velha, the restaurant Ilha do Caranguejo has introduced a themed space called Ilha das Carpas. This area allows customers to dine at tables positioned within a water structure, surrounded by approximately 20 carp. The project was developed with biological guidance to ensure animal welfare and includes advanced water treatment systems, such as ozone and ultraviolet light, to maintain water quality.
