New thriller series 'Das Vergessen – Spurlos im Moor' to premiere on ARD

The German-Austrian thriller series ‘Das Vergessen – Spurlos im Moor’ is set to be available on the ARD Mediathek starting October 23, 2026. Produced by Odeon Fiction and Mona Film for ARD Degeto and ORF, the six-part series stars Julia Koschitz as Pia Kraus.

The plot follows a police officer investigating the murder of her 17-year-old niece, whose body was discovered in a moor. As Pia attempts to reconstruct the victim's final months, she must simultaneously contend with her own struggle against early-onset Alzheimer's disease, which makes her memories and perceptions increasingly unreliable.
