New train services to launch in Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh

New rail connectivity is being introduced in the Indian states of Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh. In Jharkhand, a new weekly express service will connect Tatanagar to Khatipura (Jaipur Khatu Shyam Dham). The Santragachi-Khatipura Express is scheduled to depart Santragachi at 2:15 PM, arriving at Tatanagar at 5:50 PM. The route includes stops at Ranchi, Lohardaga, Dehri-on-Sone, Prayagraj, Kanpur Central, Agra, and Dausa, reaching Khatipura the following night at 11:00 PM. The service will be flagged off on October 26 by MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, with Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw joining virtually.

In Chhattisgarh, three new trains are set to be inaugurated on October 20. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will flag off the services during ceremonies held at Raipur Railway Station and Raoghat Railway Station. These additions aim to enhance regional connectivity and provide more travel options for passengers within the state.
