New urban parks inaugurated in Rho and Castagnole Piemonte

New green spaces have been inaugurated in the Italian municipalities of Rho and Castagnole Piemonte.

In Rho, Mayor Andrea Orlandi inaugurated the ‘parco ritrovato,’ a project that connects the green areas of via Prati and via Magenta. Funded by the Lombardy Region through the European Regional Development Fund (PR FESR 2021-2027) as part of a Sustainable Urban Development Strategy, the project includes safety improvements for crossings on via Magenta. The initiative also incorporates social cooperative actions coordinated by CoopeRho to foster community engagement.

In Castagnole Piemonte, the municipality opened the new ‘Parco Smart’ on via Torino. Described as a collective space for families and children, the inauguration was attended by regional officials, including Piedmont Region Councilor Gian Luca Vignale and Regional Council President Davide Nicco.
