New video game announcements include Medium Rare and Valor Mortis

ExeCo has announced Medium Rare, a turn-based survival and dungeon exploration game scheduled for release on PC via Steam in 2027. Set in a world where resource scarcity has led to the industrialization of cannibalism, players control a protagonist attempting to rescue his wife from a human meat processing facility. The gameplay features grid-based maps, resource management, and extraction elements where players must decide whether to continue exploring or return to a safe zone.

Lyrical Games and One More Level have released a story trailer for Valor Mortis, which has seen a slight delay. The game is now set to launch on Xbox Series and PC on October 13, 2026, moved from its original September 24 date. Set in an alternative 19th-century Europe during Napoleon's era, the game follows a resurrected soldier named William. The title features first-person combat with soulslike elements and Metroidvania-style exploration.
