New video game releases announced for Nintendo and PlayStation consoles

Limited Run Games, in collaboration with Interabang and Atari, has announced a physical release for ‘Jay and Silent Bob: Chronic Blunt Punch’. The beat-em-up title will be available for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, with pre-orders open until September 20. This version includes gameplay updates and enhancements based on player feedback from the previous digital launch. The game features voice work from Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes.

Separately, Nuntius Games has announced the release of ‘Ghetto Zombies: Graffiti Squad’ on August 27, 2026. The pixel-art, top-down action shooter will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2. Set in a Brazilian suburb, the game follows a group called ‘Z-Squad’ fighting through zombie-infested streets using various weapons and a graffiti-based progression system.
