New wellness and luxury spa experiences launch in Italy and France

In Acireale, Italy, the Grand Hotel Des Bains has inaugurated Les Bains 1873 Spa & Rituals. This new wellness center aims to revive the city's historical thermal tradition linked to the ancient Santa Venera springs. The site was historically frequented by European elites, including Richard Wagner and King Umberto I. The new spa offers rituals inspired by Sicilian culture and the Etna landscape, utilizing volcanic stones and mineral salts.

In Obernai, France, the YONA destination has transformed the former Parc Hôtel into a contemporary wellness complex. Centered around the Yonaguni Spa, the 3,500 square meter facility features an immersive aquatic itinerary. The design includes indoor and outdoor pools, saunas, hammams, and sensory environments such as a snow cave and tropical-themed areas, drawing inspiration from the mysterious landscapes of the Japanese island of Yonaguni.
