New women-only pilates studios to open in Shiga and Kyoto

Two new women-only pilates studios are scheduled to open in Japan in October 2026.

Sports & Life Innovation Co., Ltd. will launch Brille Otsukyo in Otsu City, Shiga Prefecture, on October 1, 2026. The studio offers three distinct class types: mat, group machine, and personal sessions, allowing members to switch between formats monthly. The facility includes over 20 free parking spaces and is located approximately eight minutes from JR Otsukyo Station.

Konami Sports Corporation will open Pilates Mirror Fushimi Momoyama in Kyoto City on October 31, 2026. This studio features mirrors installed on the ceiling to help participants monitor their body movements. The lessons are designed to be short, lasting 30 minutes each, and do not require specialized footwear or clothing changes.
