New York and Onigoe Tomahawk appear on Kamaitachi variety show

In the August 29 broadcast of the MBS variety program ‘Kamaitachi no Shiran kedo’, comedy duos New York and Onigoe Tomahawk joined hosts Kamaitachi for a themed bus tour. The episode focused on the experiences of comedians from the NSC Tokyo 15th generation.

During the tour, members of Onigoe Tomahawk expressed frustration regarding the frequent use of Kansai-specific comedy references in Tokyo. The guests also discussed the professional disparities between their cohorts, noting differences in theater appearances and compensation.

The group visited various locations, including a cafe in Jimbocho and an izakaya frequented by New York’s Yashiki during his early career. The discussion included personal anecdotes, such as Kamaitachi’s initial poor impressions of the guests, and revelations regarding the eccentricities of fellow comedian Matsushita from the duo Dennis.
