New York City hosts multiple contemporary art exhibitions in May and August 2026

From May 5‑10, 2026, Artist Talk Magazine presented a week‑long exhibition at One Art Space in Tribeca, featuring works by 51 international artists across painting, photography, abstraction, conceptual and mixed media. The show was linked to a digital billboard in Times Square that displayed pieces by 23 artists four times per hour throughout May 7. Among the highlighted works was Grant Milne’s oil painting “NYC,” offered for public bidding.

In August 2026, a guide to New York galleries listed a series of shows across the city. Notable entries included Spencer Brownstone’s “second material” show in the Lower East Side, Susan Inglett’s exhibition of Ryan Wallace, and the group show “Between the Lines” at Bienvenu Steinberg & C in Tribeca.
