New York City restaurant updates: closures and openings
Several notable dining establishments in New York City have recently closed or opened. In Brooklyn, Bark Barbecue is set to close its permanent outpost in the Time Out Market in Dumbo on November 7, though its larger Bushwick location remains operational. In the East Village, La Linea has closed after 32 years, with a new tavern expected to take over the space soon.
In Manhattan, several new restaurants have been highlighted for their recent openings. These include Daniel Boulud’s revamped Brasserie Boulud on the Upper West Side, the Japanese destination One Bryant Park in Midtown, and Camari Mick’s Afro-Caribbean restaurant, Calabash, in the West Village. Other recent additions include Zimmi’s wine bar Bar à Part, Daniel Humm’s new venture Humm, Buddy & Son at the Public Hotel, and Iara, a Brazilian-inspired restaurant by chef Vitor Mendes.
