New York communities host free fall festivals

Several community fall festivals are scheduled in New York to provide free family-oriented entertainment.

In Fulton, the annual Fall Festival will take place on Saturday, September 26, at the Fulton War Memorial complex. Sponsored by the Shineman Foundation, the event features a free train ride, live music from regional artists, food trucks, and various activities for children. The festival is organized by a volunteer committee to encourage community connection and local tourism.

In Binghamton, the 2nd Annual Fall Fun Fest is set for Saturday, October 17, at Recreation Park. Hosted by the nonprofit I am She Ministries, Inc., the event offers free activities including a chili cook-off, face painting, free haircuts, and a ‘Touch-a-Truck’ demonstration with local first responders. The festival aims to provide a cost-free afternoon for families in Broome and Tioga counties.
