New York Democrats Stage Spanish Debate as AOC Mulls Presidential Bid

Telemundo 47 will host a one‑hour Spanish‑language debate on June 17 for the four Democratic candidates seeking the U.S. House seat for New York’s 13th congressional district. Incumbent Rep. Separately, Representative Alexandria Ocasio‑Cortez said she has not ruled out running as a Democratic candidate for the U.S. presidency in 2028. In an interview she emphasized that universal health‑care coverage remains her top priority, and noted a recent poll showing her ahead of Vice President Kam ala Harris in a hypothetical matchup.
