Officials said the pavement was damaged and will require remilling, and no reopening time has been set.

State and local authorities had warned the Hudson Valley of heightened flash‑flood risk earlier in the week, and the Dutchess County Sheriff's Office urged residents to avoid flooded roadways, citing the danger of deeper, faster‑moving water and the possibility of road damage.
