New York expands free daycare program for 10,000 families

New York has expanded its free daycare program to support more than 10,000 families. This initiative aims to address the rising cost of living and the high demand for childcare services.

In the United States, childcare costs average approximately $13,128 annually, but in New York State, these expenses can exceed $20,000 per year. Such high costs often force parents to leave their jobs due to the inability to afford private daycare or individual caregivers.
