New York baseball fans attend three MLB games in nine hours

New York City baseball fans successfully attended three Major League Baseball games within a nine-hour window on Saturday, utilizing a unique scheduling arrangement between the Bronx and Queens.

The marathon began with a 1 p.m. Yankees game against the Boston Red Sox at Yankee Stadium. Fans then traveled to Citi Field for a 4 p.m. matchup between the Mets and the Houston Astros, before returning to the Bronx for a 7 p.m. Yankees nightcap.

Brooklyn resident Dana Nauta and her friend Carly Henry navigated the subway transit between boroughs, using their phones to track game progress while traveling. To manage the tight schedule and potential for extra innings or subway delays, the pair agreed to make “game time decisions” regarding when to leave certain stadiums based on the flow of play.
