New York Fashion Week hosts Uruguayan and Spanish designers

Several international fashion designers and collectives are set to showcase their collections at New York Fashion Week on September 13.

Uruguayan designer Yianina Bugani, representing NINA B, will present her collection titled ‘ELLAS’. The collection uses footwear to convey a message of autonomy and strength, inspired by the legacy of her grandmothers. Bugani was received in New York by the Uruguayan Consul General, Beatriz Núñez Rivas.

Additionally, a collective of eight fashion brands from Málaga, Spain, organized by Málaga de Moda, will participate in a group show. The participating Spanish firms include Ildhorit, García Galiano, Selva de Mar, Susana Zamora, Inma de la Riva-Inridelo, Moncho Heredia, Amparo Pardal, and Isabel Montiel. The initiative aims to internationalize the Malagueño textile sector by connecting small and medium-sized enterprises with luxury buyers and international distributors in the United States.
