New York Fashion Week prepares for Spring/Summer 2027 season

New York Fashion Week (NYFW) is set to host its Spring/Summer 2027 edition from September 10 to September 15, 2026. The event features approximately 70 runway shows and presentations according to the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) calendar.

A notable theme for this season is the revival of American fashion heritage. Established brands such as Ralph Lauren, Coach, and Tommy Hilfiger are expected to draw significant attention, particularly for their ability to reconnect with younger consumers like Generation Z through nostalgia and celebrity partnerships.

To increase public accessibility, the third edition of NYFW Live at Rockefeller Center will stream American collections. Sponsored by Genesys, the partnership will feature screenings on a large outdoor screen at the Rink at Rockefeller Plaza, allowing audiences to view shows from designers including Marc Jacobs, Michael Kors, and Calvin Klein Collection. While the schedule is dominated by American designers, the event also includes international visibility for creators such as Joseph Altuzarra.
