New York Film Festival announces 64th edition lineup

The 64th New York Film Festival (NYFF), hosted by Film at Lincoln Center, is set to feature a diverse lineup of international cinema and major world premieres. Artistic director Dennis Lim has highlighted several high-profile titles, including a secretive documentary project by Nathan Fielder and Lance Oppenheim, and Luca Guadagnino’s “Artificial”.

One of the most anticipated films is James Gray’s “Paper Tiger”, a 1980s crime thriller starring Adam Driver and Scarlett Johansson. Lim described the project as a “miraculous film” within the current cinematic context.

The festival's programming also includes international works such as Arthur Harari’s metaphysical melodrama “The Unknown”, Valeska Grisebach’s “The Dreamed Adventure”, and Pedro Almodóvar’s “Bitter Christmas”. South Korean director Hong Sangsoo will also have two films featured: “The Day She Returns” and “Nowhere to Lay My Eyes”.
