New York Giants' Cam Skattebo and Malik Nabers Progress in Rehab Ahead of Summer Camp

Running back Cam Skattebo, who missed the latter half of last season with a dislocated ankle and open tibia fracture, has taken part in mandatory minicamp drills and is “further along” in his recovery, according to head coach John Harbaugh. Harbaugh said the player is on schedule and could be ready early in training camp, giving the Giants a clearer picture of his workload for August.

Wide receiver Malik Nabers, still recovering from a torn ACL suffered in Week 4 of the 2025 season, is also “rehabbing every day, working super hard,” Harbaugh added. The team expects Nabers to be on the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list at the start of camp, with his return for Week 1 still uncertain. General manager Joe Schoen expressed optimism that Nabers could be ready for the season opener, but no guarantees were made.

Both players are expected to be on schedule for the July 28 start of camp, though the exact timing of their full participation remains unclear.
