New York Giants evaluate offensive line positional shifts

The New York Giants are evaluating several positional shifts and roster options within their offensive line. Offensive line coach Mike Bloomgren revealed that the team has discussed potentially moving 2025 fifth-round pick Marcus Mbow to the center position. While Mbow has received snaps at center during OTAs, Bloomgren noted that the player currently feels more comfortable playing tackle.

Additionally, veteran Evan Neal is competing for a spot on the roster. After failing to play a snap last season following a move to right guard, Neal has been listed as a co-second-teamer with Aaron Stinnie. Bloomgren reported seeing growth in Neal’s ability to process coaching and alignment, noting increased confidence in his stance and play.

The team continues to manage depth concerns, including injuries to starter John Michael Schmitz, as they determine the best configuration for the upcoming season.
