New York Jets defeat Cleveland Browns 17-12 at MetLife Stadium
The New York Jets defeated the Cleveland Browns 17-12 at MetLife Stadium on Sunday. Despite the victory, the game was highlighted by a standout performance from Browns linebacker Quincy Williams, a former Jet.
Williams, who played for New York from 2021 to 2025, lived up to his pre-game warning that he would be a “nightmare” for his former team. He recorded 11 tackles and forced three fumbles, becoming the first Browns player to achieve three forced fumbles in a single game since at least 2000, according to CBS statistics.
One of the forced fumbles resulted in rookie tight end Kenyon Sadiq being placed into concussion protocol. Jets head coach Aaron Glenn stated that Sadiq is “fine” and is currently undergoing the necessary medical process. While Williams provided a defensive spark, the Browns' offense struggled to capitalize on the turnovers, leading to the Cleveland loss.
