New York Jets hold workouts for quarterbacks Will Levis and Jack Plummer

The New York Jets recently held workouts for two quarterbacks as the team looks to increase competition at the position. The players evaluated were former Tennessee Titans second-round pick Will Levis and reigning United Football League MVP Jack Plummer.

Neither player was signed following the workouts, but reports indicate both were being considered for potential spots on the team’s practice squad. The move comes as the Jets seek more depth behind starter Geno Smith and rookie backup Cade Klubnik. Plummer previously spent time on the Carolina Panthers' practice squad, while Levis was waived by the Titans during the 2025 roster cutdowns.
