The New York Jets held workouts on Wednesday for several kickers, including former All-Pro Justin Tucker, Michael Badgley, and Joshua Karty, as the team evaluates its options at the position.

Tucker, 36, has not played in an NFL game since the 2024 season. He was released by the Baltimore Ravens in May 2025 following accusations of sexually inappropriate behavior by massage therapists. Tucker served a 10-game suspension for violating the NFL’s personal conduct policy related to these allegations but has denied any wrongdoing.

The Jets are currently working with kicker Blake Grupe, who was claimed off waivers from Indianapolis, and have re-signed veteran Jason Sanders to the practice squad. While Grupe is expected to be the primary option for the season opener against Tennessee, the team is performing due diligence on available free agents.
