NFL Update: Jets, Bears, and Lions make roster and tactical shifts

The New York Jets are preparing for a Week 4 matchup against the Chicago Bears following a 31-24 loss to the Detroit Lions. While the Jets' defense showed flashes of strength, including a sack by linebacker Demario Davis, concerns remain regarding Davis's performance in pass coverage after allowing 61 yards on five receptions during the Detroit game.

In Chicago, the Bears are preparing to host the Jets at Soldier Field. The Bears' defense has seen recent success, and cornerback Kyler Gordon has officially entered his 21-day practice window to return from the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

Meanwhile, the Detroit Lions have bolstered their linebacker depth by signing veteran Amen Ogbongbemiga to their 53-man active roster. Ogbongbemiga, who previously played for the Los Angeles Chargers and Chicago Bears, was elevated from the practice squad following his appearance in the game against the Jets.
