New York Jets Secure Multi-Year Broadcast Extension with CBS New York

The New York Jets and CBS New York have signed a multi‑year extension that keeps the station as the official broadcast home of the Jets. The agreement, covering preseason games, team‑focused shows and exclusive content, continues a 28‑year partnership. Jets president Hymie Elhai said, "This extension builds on that longstanding relationship and allows us to deliver even more access, insight and exclusive content to our fans." CBS New York regional president Johnny Green Jr. added that the deal reflects a shared commitment to serving fans.

Separately, the New Orleans Saints have signed veteran linebacker Deion Jones to a one‑year contract. Jones, a New Orleans native and former LSU standout, becomes the first player to have played for all four NFC South teams, having previously suited up for the Falcons, Panthers and Buccaneers. The signing adds experience to a Saints linebacker group that is undergoing a transition ahead of the 2026 season.
