New York Knicks bolster roster depth ahead of training camp

The New York Knicks are bolstering their roster depth ahead of training camp with key additions to their frontcourt and wing rotations. The team has officially signed 6′11″ center N’Faly Dante to an Exhibit 10 contract.

Dante, a 24-year-old with a 7’5 wingspan, joins the team to address a shortage of rim protection following the departure of Mitchell Robinson. While Dante has limited NBA experience, his physical profile is intended to provide high-upside defensive depth alongside players like Karl-Anthony Towns and Andre Drummond.

Additionally, the Knicks are looking to evaluate the development of 21-year-old forward Mohamed Diawara. After a rookie season characterized by limited minutes and a 36.9 percent three-point average, the team aims to test whether Diawara can transition into a consistent rotation player who can provide floor spacing and defensive stability.
