New York Knicks championship parade showcases Fat Joe and Remy Ma performing “Lean Back”

The New York Knicks won the 2026 NBA Finals, securing their first championship since 1973. On June 18, 2026, the team celebrated with a city‑wide ticker‑tape parade that began at Bowling Green in downtown Manhattan, proceeded up Broadway, and concluded at City Hall.

The procession featured a hip‑hop‑themed float that included a lineup of rappers such as Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Wu‑Tang Clan, Fabolous, Ja Rule, The LOX and others. Fat Joe and Remy Ma performed their hit “Lean Back” for the cheering crowd. Cameras also captured New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani doing the “Lean Back” dance alongside Knicks star Karl‑Anthony Towns on the same float. The celebration marked the end of a 53‑year title drought and drew massive fan turnout throughout the city.
