New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown criticizes team performance

New York Knicks head coach Mike Brown has issued a blunt assessment of the team following a 0-3 start to the NBA season. After a 111-102 loss to the Orlando Magic, Brown stated, “Our crap stinks. It does. And we’re the only ones that can do something about it.”

Brown expressed particular frustration with the team's defensive lapses, noting that allowing 40 points in the fourth quarter against Orlando is not a winning strategy. He described the team as looking lethargic and emphasized the need to increase offensive pace and improve transition defense.

Reflecting on recent performances, including a loss to the Boston Celtics, Brown noted that the team is still struggling to establish its identity and handle opponent physicality. He also addressed Mikal Bridges' shooting struggles, noting that while the player is getting necessary looks, he must remain physical on the defensive end.
