New York Liberty vows to improve ahead of Valkyries clash

The New York Liberty suffered a 99‑88 defeat to the Seattle Storm, committing 16 turnovers that led to 15 Storm points. Star forward Jonquel Jones rejected excuses, saying the team must "be better locked in" and play with more heart. The Liberty close their four‑game road trip on Sunday against the Golden State Valkyries, who have won back‑to‑back games and are led by All‑Star candidate Gabby Williams.
