New York man with 150 arrests released without bail

Shaquan Seth, a 40-year-old man with nearly 150 prior arrests, was released without cash bail in Queens following a series of recent thefts. Seth’s recent alleged criminal activity began almost immediately after he completed a five-month sentence at Rikers Island in June 2026. Between June 17 and August 5, he was accused of five new thefts in Queens. One notable incident involved the alleged theft of over $600 worth of candles from a Target on Jackson Avenue, during which he reportedly threatened a female clerk with a shooting, though no weapon was displayed.
