New York Rangers place Dylan Garand and Taylor Raddysh on waivers

The New York Rangers have decided on their backup goaltender for the upcoming season, selecting Joonas Korpisalo to serve as the number two behind Igor Shesterkin. As a result of this decision, the team is placing goaltender Dylan Garand on waivers.

In addition to Garand, forward Taylor Raddysh will also be placed on waivers. If Garand clears, he is expected to serve as the top goaltender for the AHL's Hartford Wolf Pack. The move carries the risk of losing both players to other teams without compensation.
